Vulture Culture

I’m not overly open about my little hobby, I know it can be off-putting to some people. I feel compelled to explain and give context when I talk about it, and I’m pretty selective about when/who I share with. The people I do share with usually get it and think it’s cool, or at least interesting. A lot of times these people are hunters, and sometimes I process their trophies for them. Consequently, a few folks give me the dead animals they come across.

Jana Miller Rules. She recently posted on insta about some of the sad state of things today. If it weren’t for Jana Miller, I would be, at best, improperly processing bones and skulls, or, more likely, not collecting at all. There’s so much shit information out there today.

If you want to do things correctly, I’d strongly advise learning from Jana Miller first. If you are doing things correctly already, it’s likely because of Jana Miller. I grudgingly (because much of it is so toxic) consider myself part of the vulture culture, but I’m on the side of Jana Miller. Thanks, Jana.
